So today kicks off two weeks of Polish Con NOLA exclusives, limited editions, VIPs and more! Each day I'll be sharing polishes from many of the brands. The great thing is that many of these polishes will be available through the Fairy Site, which is a web site where you can order the polishes even if you can't make it to the event!

Turtle Tootsie has a Mardi Gras themed collection releasing, all in Mardi Gras colors! I shared a preview of this when I wore my Mardi Gras mani! I coudn't help myself and had to wear it right away!

LIMITED EDITIONS

Bayou A Polish?: 3 coats, 2 had slight VNL. This is a purple holo jelly polish with holo shimmer and gold and purple glitters. For most of these polishes, they are like jelly holos, so my nails are visible with two coats. If you have shorter nails, or nails that don't have opaque nail lines, two will be fine. I really like the addition of the glitters as it gives this holo more dimension.

Jazzin It Up the Mississippi: 3 coats, wait in between coats. A grass green linear holo polish loaded with holo green flakies and glitters. Perfect Mardi Gras green. This one has lots of glitters and flakies but it laid completely smooth. The holo is so pretty!

NOLA Power: 3 coats and 1 coat over black. Super sparkly yellow linear holo polish loaded with multiple gold holo glitters. I feel like I haven't seen a yellow holo so this is so fun! I see golds, but never yellow. Because it's yellow, it's a little sheer on my long nails, so I wanted to try it layered as well. I can't decide which way I like it more! There are mini heart glitters, but you'll have to dig for those if you want more. Only one came out naturally for me.

EXCLUSIVES

Even the Gators Wear Beads: 3 coats, 2 had slight VNL. Again, because my nails are longer and have super opaque nail lines, most needed a very thin third coat of polish. But really, two would be good for most. This color is swamp green holo polish loaded with holo glitter, UCC flakies and purple shimmer. Yes, yes, and yes! I love this shade of green and the shimmer pops off the base. It's really unique and my favorite of this collection.

Mardi Gras or Bust: 3 coats, 2 had slight VNL. This is a white crelly loaded with green, purple and gold holo flakies and glitters. I'm so glad she did a crelly! YES! I was definitely waiting for one that looked like this. I love the round green and purple glitters as they pop off the base! This was basically fully opaque at two coats, but my index nail had some VNL so I did three overall. Love this!

Festooning It Up: 3 coats on outside nails. 2 over blacks. This is holo glitter bomb/glitter topper loaded with green, purple and gold holo flakies and glitters. Obviously, this is supposed to be layered, but I wanted to see how it would look on its own. I'm kinda digging how it looks on its own! You can put on a tinted jelly too. I wore it layered over black and that's where you can see that gorgeous shimmer. I love this combo of colors. I wore this as a full manicure and I was surprised that removal was not difficult at all!
