Happy Weekend! I thought it would be appropriate since on the weekend, I have the time, sometimes, to take a bath! HAH! So I finally got to try this cute macaron bath bombs!

I just have to get this off my chest. These are macarons, not macaroons. I did put the spelling in my title, because that's what the company has on it. Macaroons are coconut cookies, macarons are almond flour light cookies with a filling. Ok, now we can move on to the product.
The packaging is super cute. It comes just like macarons. The singular macaron was a press sample and the box was actually a gift from another indie brand.

These scents are Cotton Candy, Blue Raspberry Slushie, Lemon Meringue Pie, and Fruity Rings.

The actual bath bomb part fizzed out nicely in about 5 minutes. It's a pink color but it's not pigmented enough to do anything. So I ended up just having murky water after it fizzed. The scent is nice for about 3 minutes. It really doesn't linger. If you don't like heavily scented items, but want bath bombs, then this is perfect. Lastly, the filling does not dissolve. After looking at the card, it's apparently whipped soap so I guess I was supposed to rub it in? My bad!
Now, onto moisture. HOLY COW. These were actual WAY too moisturizing for me. If you have really dry skin, you will love this. For me, I had to take a shower after because it felt like putting lotion on on a hot summer day, and I was sweating off the "lotion" 10 minutes after my bath. The shower took off the excess moisture and then my skin felt great.

Overall, if you're a macaron lover, this is a cute gimmick. They moisturize a lot but there isn't a show or anything in the fizz and color. It would make for a great gift too, as long as the spelling is fixed. The pack of 4 costs $12, so it's a cute gift at a low cost.
