Spring Break is officially over, so it's like a case of the Mondays times 100. Because of the 2 snow days before break, I've been off extra long. While this may sound fun, I go back to class tomorrow and receive no less than 103 papers. Multiple that by 4-6 pages. My eyes will fall out. Anyway, if you have a case of the Mondays, then let's lighten up your day with a new spring collection from Morgan Taylor. I actually love pastel cremes. It's basic, but then I guess I am. Royal Temptations has cremes, shimmers, metallics, and glitter. Something for everyone. YAY.

Beauty Marks the Spot: 3 coats. I love a classic salmon coral creme. I could have tons of them, but it would never be enough. Look at how delicious this color is. It's so shiny and levels out with no top coat. You could get away with two thick coats, but I tend to paint on the thin side.

My Other Wig is a Tiara: 2 coats. I can't help but think that metallics don't belong in a spring collection, but this is like a pastel blue metallic--not sure if that even exists. They call it seafoam; I can see that. Like with all metallics, the less strokes you use, the better. I do like that this will probably stamp! I didn't hate this color like I thought I would. We have to stop judging the poor metallics!

All the Queen's Bling: 3 coats. This is the "it" color of spring. I've seen very close colors in three collections. I'm okay with that, because I seem to love it each time. A bright yet pastel purple, with pearly shimmer. It can go on in 2 coats, but I felt three made the shimmer stronger. I feel like this is the type of purple that would look great on any skin tone.

All My Hearts Desires: 3 coats. This is referred to as a creamy hot pink, and although that seems like an ironic color description, it's true. It is very bright, yet it's also sort of subdued. I can totally see this as a hot pink with some extra white mixed in. If you don't remember, I used this color and All the Queen's Bling in my rose gradient stamping. I was waiting for spring to hit (but the weather is like yea whatever) before I showed my swatches!

Curls and Pearls: 3 coats. I loveeeee these types of colors. Call me boring. My boyfriend actually loves nothing more than white/off-white nails. I actually wore this color as my pedicure for a few weeks. Morgan Taylor says this is a pale pink, but I think skintone will determine how much pink comes out. To me, it's like a French Vanilla, and I can never get enough!

Over the Top Pop over Curls and Pearls: dabbed and fished. This polish was exhausting. It's a glitter top coat with every shape ever in a pink jelly base. You can see how the pink tints Curls and Pearls. The microglitter and shards are the only glitters that will come out naturally. I had my bottle upside down overnight and circles, stars, and hearts came out. If you want the donuts, bows, lightening glitters, I actually fished out the glitters onto a piece of foil and placed it. The reason I put it on foil was because there was so much base, and I didn't want super thick nails. I love the concept of the glitter, but the base needed to be lighter.

Ruffle Those Feathers: 3 coats. Another creamy neon! This is a creamy hot turquoise. I've been using this one a lot. I really love the color and how smooth it is. I feel like Morgan Taylor shines with their bright and creamy cremes!

The Royal Temptations is available now, at $9 each. There's an adorable mini of 4 for $15. Morgan Taylor minis are actually my favorites because the brush is excellent. I wouldn't miss out on the cremes in this collection!
