Today I have Alter Ego's newest collection, The Fan Favorites. It was named in her Facebook fan group, so it's nice that they contributed. There's a variety of finishes, which I think the fan also voted on! So let's get to this 6 piece collection that's available now! Plus, say hi to my shorties! It feels nice to chop them off and grow them out all over again while my right index nail heals.

I just wanted to first mention that this polish smells a little stronger than what I've been used to. I think it's the base that was slightly odor'ed, but it's not extra chemicals. It's just a scent. I've been a bit more sensitive lately because I don't know LOL, but I wanted to mention it.
Silver Lining: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a metallic silver polish loaded with black flecks. It goes on smoothly and I love the speckled look.

Morning Glory: 2 coats. I've been watching a lot of Golden Girls lately, and I feel like Blanche would be all over this color. This is a lavender frost polish with some black flecks. It's my least favorite of the collection. The black flecks sort of just look lumpy in the base. But if the group voted for this, then it's what they wanted.

Spring Rain: 2 coats plus top coat. This is a bright blue metallic, with a bit of holo sparkle. I love how vibrant this one is. It's a little textured so the top coat makes it nice and shiny.

She's a Brick House: 2 coats. This one is definitely a crowd pleaser. I can't wait to pull it out in the fall. It's a delicious berry metallic with lots of shimmer!

Petal Perfect: 3 coats. Ackkkkkk, this one is so awesome. It's a sheer light purple base that is loaded with blue to violet shimmer. This one super glows. I swear, this shimmer alone makes me feel like it will glow in the dark.

Summer Sunset: 3 coats. This is my favorite of the collection! It's juicy and reminds me of freshly squeezed pink lemonade. It's a bubblegum pink jelly with lots of golden shimmer and some darker pink flecks. This one screams summer to me!
